Time to put away the air conditioner and the fans and dig out your cable knit sweater and wool cap. The light is different this time of year and the white New England buildings like churches and town halls reflect the color of the sky, sea and leaves.
If you've taken a great picture of a Fall scene, colorful leaves, a bushel of shellfish, sharp blue skies, a cranberry bog, the heather in the moors or a field of pumpkins, share it with Patch and your neighbors.
Let us know in the caption: your name, what town you're from, and any other information you think we should know.
This is part of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we’re asking you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week.
We’ve added a little incentive. The winning submission will get a $75 gift card, plus bragging rights.
We’ll be taking photo submissions this week from 5:40 a.m. Monday through noon Friday. Voting will begin at 4 a.m. Saturday and end at 9 a.m. Monday, so make sure to check back over the weekend to vote for your favorite picture.
To upload your photo, just click on the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. If you have more questions, click here to check out our tutorial on uploading photos and videos to Patch.
