Cape Cod Woman Claims $1.4 Million Mega Money Jackpot
Linda Howell of Mashpee purchased the winning ticket in St. Petersburg Florida and claimed her winnings earlier this month.
Howell, 65, claimed her winnings February 12, 2013. She chose the one-time lump sum payment option for her winnings, which was $1,133,777.54, according to a press release.
Howell purchased the ticket at Derby Lane in St. Petersburg, Florida. The owner of Derby Lane received $1,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.

The ticket was the 16th jack-pot winning Mega Money ticket sold in Pinellas County Florida since 2004.
