Neighborhood Health Plan Holding Statewide Health Education Events

NHP partnering with Community Health Centers and radio stations for mall event series

 

September 11, 2013 (Boston) — Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP), in partnership with local Community Health Centers and radio stations, is launching a series of family-friendly health education events to raise awareness about staying healthy and managing chronic diseases. Over the next two months, NHP’s events will feature health screenings, activities for children and adults and free giveaways at malls across the state.

Staff from local Community Health Centers will administer health screenings, and planned activities range from airbrush tattoos for kids, to trivia, and more. Participants will have an opportunity to win a variety of fun prizes.
