Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank Celebrates Falmouth Opening With Day-Long Family Barbecue

In celebration of the opening of its new, full-service Falmouth Branch, Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank hosted a free Family Barbecue and Document Shredding Event on Flag Day. The branch, located at 397 Palmer Avenue on the corner of Jones Road in Falmouth, is managed by Elsa Vieira, who brings 27 years of banking experience to her new position. 

Attended by several hundred guests over the course of the day, the event included: ribs, pulled pork, hot dogs and smoked salmon from Doggz & Hoggz; face-painting for the kids; a balloon sculptor; and customer appreciation giveaways. Guests had an opportunity to win an iPad, a Flat Screen TV, plus Red Sox and New England Patriots Putnam Club tickets.  WCOD DJ Nina Jackson broadcast live from the event and gave away additional prizes. The bank also offered complimentary document shredding for customers interested in the safe disposal of old bills, checks, Bank statements, legal documents and more.
