Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Hires Laura Reckford as new Quahog Blogger

Local journalist Laura M. Reckford has signed on to write the Quahog Blog for the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce websites WhyCapeCod.org and CapeCodTravelGuide.com.

The Quahog Blog on WhyCapeCod.org is a lifestyle blog aimed at people seeking to live, work, play and create on Cape Cod. The Quahog Blog on CapeCodTravelGuide.com is primarily for visitors to Cape Cod, and touches on such topics as arts and culture, events, activities, shopping and more.

Reckford, who was the author of the Chamber’s Arts & Artisans Trail Guide, was also the editor of the former Barnstable Enterprise newspaper.  Reckford is now the editor of her own online publication, Cape Cod Wave (www.CapeCodWave.com), which covers the culture and character of Cape Cod. She is also the senior writer in the Communications and Development department at Housing Assistance Corporation, where she produces the nonprofit agency's newsletter, updates the website and social media, and writes grants.
