Cape Cod Hospital Welcomes New Cardiac Surgeon

Dr. Dan Loberman recently joined the Cardiac Surgery team at Cape Cod Hospital.

Dan Loberman, MD, was recently hired as the second permanent Cardiac Surgeon at Cape Cod Hospital.

“Dr. Loberman is a talented cardiac surgeon and he has joined an exceptional cardiac surgery team that delivers some of the best outcomes in the state,” said Michael Lauf, President and CEO of CCHC.

Dr. Loberman started at CCH after he completed a surgical fellowship at Harvard Medical School, a Congenital Cardiac Surgery fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, and a Transcatheter Interventions fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He has been published in many peer-reviewed publications on the subject of Cardiac Surgery, and has presented at more than a dozen professional meetings and conferences in the U.S. and Israel over the last 12 years.

Dr. Loberman completed his residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tel-Aviv Medical Center and a second residency in Congenital and Adult Cardiac Surgery at Sheba Medical Center. While working in Israel, Dr. Loberman was a clinical instructor in Surgery at Tel-Aviv University.
