Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra Prepares for Cape Pops! Opener

"Music & Martinis" will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center in Hyannis.

Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra will go back in time to the 1950s and 1960s for the first Cape Pops! concert of the season on Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13.

Young vocalists Cerise, who is a Cape Cod native, retuning performer, Nicole Werner and John Stevens, a former American Idol contestant, will join the CCSO for an evening filled with everything from Ebb Tide and Take 5 to James Bond and Unforgettable.

Limited tickets are still available for the 8 p.m. Saturday concert and the 3 p.m. Sunday performance. Visit www.capesymphony.org for tickets to "Music & Martinis."

The performances aren't the only draw of the Cape Cod Pops! opening weekend. Artistic Director and Conductor Jung-Ho Pak will be joined by the three vocalists for a guest luncheon on Friday, Oct. 11, at Alberto's Ristorante in Hyannis.

The informal and informative event will start at noon.
