Chamber Looking for Artists

The Cape Cod chamber of Commerce will promote local artists, galleries and theaters with a new ArtsApp.

The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is accepting enrollment from artists, galleries, centers, museums, and theaters for its new ArtsApp.

The ArtsApp Cape Cod is an interactive mobile app, available on all Apple, Android, and mobile-web enabled smartphones and devices, designed to showcase the wonderful arts offerings across the Cape--a guide for art-loving tourists, second- homeowners, and residents, according to a press release.

The ArtsApp is a low-cost, low-maintenance way to get information about arts and culture locations and events to a large number of smartphone and tablet wielding art-enthusiasts. It’s easy to use and allows participants to quickly update info, announce events, display photos and link to their own websites.

The Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket Island Chambers will be working to promote this app, along with its sister apps-- ArtsApp Martha’s Vineyard and ArtsApp Nantucket, throughout the state, New England and beyond – providing lots of marketing and promotion to launch the apps and ensure they are wildly successful.

The deadline for initial enrollment is November 30.
