Cape Cod Community College Dedicates New Dental Clinic

Cape Cod Community College dedicated its new state-of-the-art dental hygiene clinic and renamed the center the Wilkens Family Dental Hygiene Clinic in honor of Maureen Wilkins, the clinics benefactor.

The new Wilkens Family Dental Hygiene Clinic is equipped with private consultation areas, an x-ray machine and a new waiting room. It will allow Cape Cod Community College students to serve nearly 2,000 patients a year.

Maureen Wilkens and her late husband Frank donated $1.25 million dollars to the renovation campaign. Wilkens was honored for her contribution during the dedication ceremony.

“Mrs. Wilkens and her late husband Frank have enabled so many to have a chance at life, a career, a fresh start, and an education,” said College President John Cox.
