Cape and Islands United Way appoints Amy Levine as CEO

Amy Levine will lead the Cape and Islands United Way as as president and chief executive officer.

Board of Directors announce the appointment of Amy Levine of Yarmouth Port, currently Vice President/Executive Director, to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately.

Longtime President/CEO Richard Brothers, will now serve directly as the lead staff person responsible for supporting and managing the efforts to increase membership in the seasonal residents program and Founder’s Circle leadership giving initiative.

Ms. Levine has served as Vice President/Executive Director of the Cape and Islands United Way for the past year. Previously, Ms. Levine served for eight years as Director of Community Visibility for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. Additionally, Ms. Levine was the Charitable Programs Manager for the New Balance Foundation, and also served as the Executive Director of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce.

Shawn DeLude, 2012 Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Cape and Islands United Way said, “we are pleased and honored to announce that effective immediately Amy Levine will be the new President and CEO of the Cape and Islands United Way. Over the past year Amy has championed various new, highly successful initiatives and brought great enthusiasm and skill to our organization. We are equally excited about Richard Brothers’ on-going commitment to the Cape and Islands United Way and his leadership with our seasonal residents program and Founder’s Circle leadership giving initiative.”
