MSPCA-Centerville Pet of the Week: Daysha the Dog

Daysha is a three-year-old Pit Bull/Pharaoh Hound mix who was surrendered to the MSPCA-Centerville Adoption Center by an owner who said he could no longer care for her.  This strikingly beautiful dog is as loving as she is playful, and the MSPCA hopes to find a home with an owner who can give her plenty of attention and play time.  She’s the perfect choice for an active individual or family.  Daysha has made it clear that she prefers to be the only pet in the household, and she would likely do well with older, calmer children.

Daysha does experience some separation anxiety and takes some time to warm up to new people, all perfectly understandable given that she has just experienced the shock of being rendered homeless.  But staffers are confident she’ll make a loving and wonderful companion to anyone who is lucky enough to welcome her into their home.
