MSPCA-Centerville Pet of the Week

You might remember hearing about poor Basket, the two-year-old cat who was dumped outside of a Market Basket grocery store in Bourne in May. She arrived at the MSPCA-Centerville where staff evaluated her and discovered she had an ultimately fatal diaphragmatic hernia. The veterinary team wasted no time in gathering help from a nearby veterinary practice to conduct a surgery to repair the hernia. When her surgery was over Basket got some well-deserved rest while recovering at the MSPCA-Centerville.  Now Basket is recovered and ready to be adopted.

Despite all of the challenges she’s had to face this loveable two-year-old tuxedo cat is the perfect addition to any calm and laid-back home.

Prior to her being adopted the MSPCA-Centerville will be giving her a full dental cleaning as well, so she can have fresh clean teeth.
