Santa Claus Comes to Hyannis, Designing Women Holiday Boutique

Here are five things you need to know Tuesday, Dec. 10.
1. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 42, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
2. Santa Claus will visit the Hyannis Public Library on Tuesday. There will be Christmas songs, stories and crafts.
3. Designing Women, a needlecrafts group that meets at the Cotuit Library, will hold its Holiday Boutique Tuesday at 10 a.m.
4. The Barnstable Conservation Commission will be in session at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
5. The Barnstable Board of Assessors will also meet Tuesday. The meeting is set for 4:45 p.m.
