Here are five things you want to know Thursday, Dec. 5.
1. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a high around 52, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 30 percent chance of showers.
2. Regina Pizzeria at Cape Cod Mall is partnering with Barnstable children's librarians for a story hour and crafts on Thursday. The story time will start at 11:30 a.m.
3. Barnstable Town Council will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday.
4.The Centerville Public Library will hold an all ages "Santa Advent Calendar Craft," at 4 p.m. Thursday.
5. A Historical Society Book Club will discuss "Muse of the Revolution" at the Cotuit Library on Thursday evening. The meeting will start at 7 p.m.
