Music and Mystery at the Marstons Mills Public Library

Here are five things you need to know Friday, Dec. 6.

1. There is an 80 percent chance of rain in Barnstable on Friday. The high will be around 55, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The Cape Cod Enchanted Village, located at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis, will open for its 12th season on Friday at dusk.

3. "It's a Mystery to Me" author talk and book signing will be held at the Marstons Mills Public Library on Friday, Dec. 6. Local mystery authors Sheila Connolly, Kate Flora, Gary Braver and Hank Phillippi Ryan will all appear at the library, beginning at 1 p.m.

4. The Cranberry Shores Chorus will sing a cappella holiday music at the Marstons Mills Public Library on Friday evening, beginning at 7.

5. Saturday will be partly sunny with a high around 42 and a 60 percent chance of morning showers, according to the National Weather Service. On Sunday, the high will be near 37 and the skies will be partly sunny.
