4. The planning committee for the new Hyannis fire department will meet tonight to discuss the possibilities of a smaller, less expensive station. Previous prices for the station were quoted at $25 and $18 million. They will meet at 5 p.m. at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.

5. Take a walking tour of Osterville's Armstrong Kelley Park at 10 a.m. on Thursday  to earn about current restoration and ongoing preservation efforts.
