Here are five things you want to know Tuesday, Dec. 3.

1. Tuesday will be cloudy with a high near 46 in Barnstable, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 20 percent chance of rain before 2 p.m.

2. A Conservation Commission Hearing will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

3. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will hold a Medicare Seminar at Resort and Conference Center, 35 Scudder Avenue, Hyannis, on Tuesday. The program will start at 10:30 a.m.

4. The Barnstable Land Trust will host a lecture entitled "My Yellowstone Experience" at the Cotuit Library on Tuesday, starting at 2 p.m.

5. The Town Library Committee will no longer meet on Tuesday.

"My Yellowstone Experience", a lecture by Dr. Jonathan Way, starts at 7pm tonight at the Cotuit Public Library, 871 Main Street, Cotuit. Jon has visited Yellowstone National Park 15 times and has over 100 pictures and video clips on the amazing wildlife and geothermal features. You'll see elk, bison, bighorn sheep, black bears, badgers and his favorite subjects coyotes and wolves, along with unique geology and scenery. Optional book purchase and book signing available.
