5 Things: Trash Delay, School Starts, Conservation Commission
5 Things is a daily snapshot roundup of information on events, happenings and other news in town.
1. School is now in session. The first day of school in the Barnstable Public Schools is today. Good luck to all the students, teachers and parents.
2. The Centerville Public Library will host "Game Night with Matt Donle," tonight at 5.
3. There will be a Conservation Commission Hearing at Town Hall tonight at 6:30.
4. Trash collection for Labor Day is scheduled for today in addition to the regular Tuesday collection. This is standard procedure for any holiday. All rubbish and recyclables must be curbside by 7 a.m. on your collection day.
5. A Town Council Press Conference that was scheduled for today has been canceled.
