Barnstable's Senior Center provides a place for people 50 and older to engage their minds, bodies and souls in educational, fitness and recreational activities. It offers a number of free and paid activities from yoga to knitting and movie nights. It also provides adult social day programs to keep seniors busy as well as a check-in service on seniors around town. The Senior Center is run by the Senior Services Division. This division advocates for seniors in Barnstable and helps provide transportation, housing, health care and more through its Senior Center. This division seeks to enrich the lives of Barnstable's seniors and elders and offers several volunteer opportunities.
