Meet the Family in "Losing Your Pants" at Cotuit's Black Box Theater

If you're looking for a funny, touching, easy-to-enjoy evening, come join "la famiglia" in our living room at the Cotuit Art Center's black box theater for "Losing Your Pants," a brand new comedy written by Fran DeVasto and directed by PJ McKey.

If you've been to the black box before, you'll know that the tiny performance space is literally the living room of a house located on Route 28 in Cotuit.  The space is often used for smaller performances; this time, it "becomes" the home of the Polizziano family.  Eleven actors use the entire space, running into bathrooms, upstairs, in and out of the kitchen -- so the audience feels right at home, with their feet on the living room rug!

What makes this show such a special event is its unique combination of warmth and humor.  It's drawn from Fran's real-life experiences, and includes inspired silliness that comes straight from the director's funny bone.  To quote almost everyone, "you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be glad you came."

Disclaimer: Yes, I am in the show!  That's me in the green shirt.  Incredibly, the character's name really is...  Lisa!

Performances will be held in the Black Box Theater,  April 27-May 20, Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 4pm; additional shows may be added.

Tickets: $12

To purchase tickets, please click here or call 508-428-0669. The box office at the Black Box Theater will be open one half hour prior to showtime. Please be aware that latecomers cannot be seated.
