The Common Ground Cafe, known for its fresh, wholesome and good-for-you food, is anything but common.

The cafe is like a carved tree house - full of fun for the kids and adults. From blended fresh fruit smoothies and baked good to one heck of a tuna wrap, there is nothing not to love about the food. 

Beside the unsual decor, the staff is not exactly what you would expect from a busy cafe. They are always happy, kind and welcoming. Their softness is probably influenced by their spiritual beliefs, and whether you agree with them or not, it doesn't matter in a place like this. Everybody is welcome, treated to a wonderful meal with great service. 

"Common Ground has great food and drinks (mint carob smoothie!), and a neat decor, but it's the staff and their attitude that make it really wonderful. I'm not a religious person, but I appreciate how their religion gives the staff and the restaurant in general such a positive, calm, and inviting atmosphere. With 31 percent of the votes Common Ground Cafe beat out Sam Diego's (21 percent).
