Hyannis Toyota owner Jack Carter presented a brand new van to Housing for All as a prize for winning the "100 Cars for Good" competition.

Housing for All, which runs Champ Homes, was the only Toyota 100 Cars for Good winner in Massachusetts and one of three winners in New England. Earlier this summer about 3,000 voted for Champ Homes online championing their cause as the most worthy for a new van.

Tuesday at 11 am, Hyannis Toyota owner Jack Carter joined the Housing for All team and presented them with a beautiful new blue Sienna van.

Housing for All Executive Director Paul Hebert said with their small shoe string budget they have been able to support the work they need to do and contests like this help them along the way.

The group accepting the new van agreed Roberts was out in front of making it happen.

Roberts said when she found out they won the van she was shrieking in joy so loudly that everyone in the house could hear.

“We at CHAMP Homes are thrilled to have won a new Toyota Sienna. We already have a full calendar of events for our new Sienna to serve our community," said Roberts.

CHAMP Homes serves 45 men and women by providng them a home and family.

The new Sienna van will be used to support the 45 residents by getting them to doctor and dentist appointments, shopping, local donation and food bank pick-ups, job training appointments and so much more.
