Three Men Charged with Murder, Armed Robbery after Hyannis Shooting
A man is dead after an apparent armed robbery in Hyannis on Wednesday afternoon.
A 27-year-old man is dead and three men are charged with murder after an alleged deadly armed robbery on Otis Road in Hyannis Wednesday afternoon.
Police found Andrew Stanley of Hyannis shot to death at 30 Otis Road yesterday afternoon shortly after 1:30pm.
Police arrested Eddie Mack, 26, of Hyannis and Roxbury; Kieko Thomas, 20, of Hyannis; and David Evans, 26, of Boston. All three are charged with armed robbery and murder, police said.
Barnstable Police responded to calls of shots fired at the Otis residence. When they arrived on scene they heard more shots fired and found two males exiting the house and a third man fleeing, police said and Times reported.
After a pursuit, all three subjects were apprehended by Barnstable Police Detectives and Patrol Units.
A "witness saw police tackle a man near Luke's Super Liquor Store on Barnstable Road. All three suspects were arrested near the liquor store, which is about 200 yards from the home. Guns and money were recovered near where the suspects were arrested, O'Keefe said," the Cape Cod Times reported.
The Times also reported the Stanley's arms and legs were wrapped in duct tape.
The Times reported Barnstable Police used a Hyannis Fire Department ladder to search the roof of Luke's Liquors. Police did not say if they found anything.
All three will be brought to Barnstable District Court to be arraigned today.
The case remains under investigation by the Barnstable Police Department and the State Police Detectives Unit attached to the District Attorney’s Office, police said.
