Five Things You Need To Know Today: March 18

 
  1. The National Weather Service predicts today will be partly sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a west wind between 17 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. 
  2. From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Eighth Annual Children, Youth and Families Summit is at BHS Knight Auditorium. In addition to talks, there will be a panel with State Senators. Free and open to everyone.
  3. There is a blood drive at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville from 12 p.m. tp 6 p.m.
  4. "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" opens tonight at BHS at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. There is also an honorary Veteran's event in the Knight Auditorium at 7 p.m.
  5. At 8 p.m. head over to Cotuit Center for the Arts for a "St. Patrick's Traditional Irish Fest with Carraroe." Four musicians will be playing celtic music. To purchase tickets call the box office at 508-428-0669 or visit: www.ArtsOnTheCape.com.
