Strong First Week for the Daily Paper on Main

The Daily Paper on Main had a smooth first week after it's opening Monday.

Owners, Aaron and Samantha Webb, opened their second location Monday in Hyannis. The Webb’s also own the Daily Paper on West Main St.

The Webb’s purchased Perry’s Main Street Deli from Perry Gaines who was ready for retirement after running the restaurant for 23 years.

The new restaurant serves breakfast all day and lunch.

Despite having opened only a few days ago the restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine Thursday when I stopped by to grab lunch.

That may be in large part to the Webb’s decision to keep most of Perry’s staff.

When asked how the first week had gone Aaron Webb simply gave the thumbs up.

“It’s good to be here,” Webb said.

The Daily Paper on Main St. is open Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday’s 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
