State Sends Money to Barnstable for Road Improvements
The transportation bill sent money for Route 149, Route 28, Bearse's Way, and Osterville draw bridge repairs.
On Wednesday three items of importance to Barnstable were approved by the legislature in the Transportation Bond Bill.
Appropriations for three projects were approved: $250,000 designated for the Route 149 overpass; $25,000 for the Route28/Bearse’s Way traffic improvements; and $1.9 million for the Osterville drawbridge.
