Salty Lou’s Simplest Way to Cook a Lobster
Salty Lou recommends steaming your fresh catch:
Fill your pot with approximately three to four inches of water (enough so it does not boil off), with the cover on.
Bring the pot of water to a full steam.
Place your lobsters in, re-cover and bring back to a steam (just takes a few more minutes).
Once you have reached the second steam, time your cooking:
15 minutes for a 1.25 lb lobster,
18 minutes for a 1.5 lb lobster
20 to 22 for a 2 lb. lobster.
Simple, delicious AND nutritious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought two last week which were absolutely delicious!
