Rice Leads Red Raiders Past D-Y Dolphins
Barnstable raised its record to 9-2 last night in Hyannis in a decisively defensive, 61-48 tilt that was paced by senior captain Charlie Rice's 24 points while Jake Kipnes scored 8 points and had 8 assists.
Early on, this one was close.
Tied at 13-13 after the first quarter, Barnstable held a slim 24-22 lead at the half, but then broke things open in the third quarter and never looked back.

Fellow big man Nick Peabody collected 10 points in his sixth double-digit game of the season. BHS point man Jake Kipnes turned in likely his best offensive effort of the season with a matching 8 points and 8 assists.
