Parish Raises Money for Homeless
Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville hosted the 11th Annual Taste and See charity auction Friday night. The event raised money for the Cape’s homeless population with a live and silent auction.
One highlight of the night was the amount of money raised during the "bid-a-bed" portion of the live auction, where attendees pledge to cover the $50 cost of one night's stay at a local shelter. Last year, the bid-a-bed portion of Taste and See raised slightly more than $29,000. Early estimates show this year's donations surpassed that amount, as organizers expect the final tallies for the bid-a-bed portion of the night to exceed $37,000.
Restaurants, businesses and local artists donated items for both a live and silent auction. The money raised goes to local charities, including Champ House and the NOAH shelter in Hyannis.

Thanks for the Great Event! NOAH shelter was one of my Dad's favorite causes. Keep up the good work!
