Osterville Man Arrested on Drug, Weapon Charges

Yarmouth Police arrested an Osterville man on Saturday.

 

On Saturday, the Barnstable-Yarmouth Street Crimes Unit arrested an Osterville man on drug charges after a motor vehicle stop in West Yarmouth. 

Police stopped the motor vehicle for erratic driving and found "various types of illegal drugs and illegal weapons," Yarmouth Police said.

Based upon the items recovered two suspects were charged and arrested, police said.

Police arrested Richard T. Griffin, 35, of 614 Bumps River Rd., Osterville for possession of a class C substance (diazepam), possession of a dangerous weapon and on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Police arrested Brian P. Barry, 24, of 68 Cassidy Ave., South Dennis for possession of a class B substance (suboxone).
