Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 1

  1. The National Weather Service predicts areas of fog before 7 am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Southwest wind between 9 and 17 mph. Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11 pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Areas of fog after 9pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 56. West wind between 9 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. 
  2. Feeling flighty? Head to Yarmouthport for the  today until Wednesday, June 8th. Yarmouthport  businesses and organizations will host a wide spectrum of fun and interesting activities and events. There will be something new to do every day, such as a strawberry shortcake festival, workshops, a haunted walking tour and more!
