Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested for Enticing Two Young Girls

Police arrested a homeless man living in Hyannis after he allegedly enticed two young girls to meet him to engage in sexual activities.

Police arrested a 28-year-old Hyannis man and Level 3 Sex Offender on Monday for allegedly enticing two young girls he met online to engage in sexual activity.

Instead of meeting two young girls he believed to be 14 and 16 years old, Kevin B. Reid was met by law enforcement and taken into custody, police said.

Authorities involved in the investigation, members from the US Postal Inspectors, Massachusetts State Police, and the Barnstable Police Department, allege Reid used the internet to reach out to young girls between 14 and 16 years old to "engage in sexual conversations and photo exchanges."
