Five Things You Need to Know Today: Sept. 19

 
  1. The National Weather Service predicts it will be sunny, with a high near 65. 
  2. There was supposed to be a licensing show cause hearing for Pufferbellies which was accused of two violations of serving a minor alcohol. Pufferbellies asked it to be rescheduled for Oct. 3.
  3. The Comprehensive Financial Advisory Committee meets at 7 pm and will be discussing a review of solid waste finding from its subcommittee.
  4. The Renewable Energy Commission Meeting meets in the Selectmen's Conference Room of the Town Hall at 6pm. 
  5. The 2011 Autumn Golf Classic at Oyster Harbors Club is today with registration beginning at 11am. The $225 fee includes golf, cart, lunch, prizes and a post-play reception.
