Where to Watch Banstable-Hyannis' Fourth of July Fireworks

Find out where to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July in Hyannis. These fireworks are some of the best on Cape Cod.

On Wednesday, July 4, 2012 there will be fireworks in Hyannis Harbor.

The fireworks are shot off a large barge in Lewis Bay at dusk, right around 9pm.

The best seats to watch the fireworks are Aselton Park, Bismore Park and Veteran’s Park Beach.

Kalmus Beach will be available for handicapped parking only.

For everyone else parking, a parking ban will be in effect south of South Street (Ocean Street, Old Colony Boulevard, Gosnold Street and all streets running off of Gosnold Street) in Hyannis from 5 pm to midnight to allow for pedestrian access.

Parking will be available in the North Street parking lots and Town Hall parking lot. The town will tow.

Carpool and save yourself some hassle.

Hello,
Being handicapped, it's a bit difficult maneuvering around people, on the 4th of July, and becomes quite a handicap for me. I was looking at a map and noticed, Kalmus Park Beach. Seems like a nice place and have read that it is only for handicapped parking, on the Fourth. Is there a reservation process, or is it first come, etc.?
If the later applies, what time is good to arrive for the fireworks display? Either way, would you please advise me as how to park and enjoy the evening, and hope to see the festivities for July 4, 2013!
"Thank you", Tom Grosvenor <tgrosvenor3@comcast.net>
