Forestdale Man Arrested for Breaking Into Cars

Notable incidents from Tuesday January 29, 2013

Police responded to a report of larceny on Little River Rd. at 9:39 a.m.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting at the Home Depot on Independence Dr. at 10:27 a.m.

Police responded to a report of larceny on Santuit-Newtown Rd. at 11:15 a.m.

Police responded to a report of larceny at Adams Small Engine Repair on Spring St. at 1:14 p.m.

Police arrested Ieashamae Garate, 28, of Hyannis, on an outstanding warrant for larceny over $250. Garate was arrested on Hiramar Rd. at 1:32 p.m.

Police responded to a report of forgery on South St. at 1:37 p.m.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting at the Home Depot on Independence Dr. at 2:34 p.m.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering in a motor vehicle at Seaflash Farms on Rt. 149 at 4:00 p.m.

Police responded to a report of computer fraud at a home on Oxner Rd. at 5:25 p.m.

Police arrested Steven R. Richard, 40, of Forestdale, during a motor vehicle stop. Richard was charged with breaking and entering motor vehicle day felony, 3 counts of larceny of property over $250, and 2 counts of breaking and entering motor vehicle night felony.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering at a residence on South Main St. at 6:16 p.m.

Police arrested William F. Desmond, 50, of Hyannis, while responding to a report of shoplifting at the CVS on North St. at 10:20 p.m. Desmond was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
