Not everyone is brave enough or crazy enough to jump into icy cold waters in January like some “Polar Plunge” enthusiasts!
Hence the Cape Codder Resort & Spa first annual Not-so Polar Plunge on Sunday, Jan. 8 at 9:30 am.
For a $25 donation, participants can take a dip in its heated, outdoor rainbow-falls pool, dry off and change in the locker room and enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate or coffee in the Hearth´n Kettle.
All proceeds from the Not-so Polar Plunge will go to the Housing Assistance Corporation on Cape Cod.
Pre-registration is required by calling (508) 771-3000 extension 1.
A $10 donation is requested for spectators who do not wish to take the plunge.
A Not-so Polar Plunge Overnight Package is available on Saturday night, January 7th. It includes a deluxe room, $20 meal voucher, 15% spa discount, 2pm late checkout, a donation to HAC and Plunge wristbands for the registered guests on Sunday morning.
