Cape Cod Healthcare Named One of America’s Top 15 Systems
Truven Health Analytics released its list of the top 15 healthcare systems in the nation and Cape Cod Healthcare made the list again.
Truven Health Analytics, formerly Thomson Reuters, evaluated more than 300 healthcare systems across the country based on clinical quality and efficiency, according to a press release.
Cape Cod Healthcare made the list again this year, they were also recognized in 2011.
Truven Health Analytics 100 Top Hospitals study results showed the top hospitals on the list had better care, fewer complications, shorter stays, improved outcomes and reduced readmissions.

“This is an incredible accomplishment by everyone at Cape Cod Healthcare. Our physicians and hospitals have worked hard to collaborate over the last several years, so that we can bring better care to residents and visitors of Cape Cod,” President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare Michael Lauf said in a statement.
Cape Cod Healthcare was the only healthcare system in New England named to the Truven list.
