Bearse's Way Road Construction Detours
Starting Monday, April 23 through June 21, there will be detours around Bearse's Way, Stevens Street, North Street and High School Road in Hyannis.
Weather permitting, commencing Monday, April 23, and intermittently continuing through June 21, motor vehicle traffic will be detoured for road construction purposes on Bearse’s Way, Stevens Street, High School Road and North Street. Variable message boards will be in place alerting motorists of detours as they occur.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate through routes to avoid the construction work areas if possible. These roads will be open to traffic during most of this period, however, there may be periodic delays, lane closures, and travel restrictions. As always, please use extreme caution in traveling through the road construction area.

Bearses's Way, Sea St., the Sagamore Bridge....if I am the only one who is sooo tired every summer of the road construction here then I will eat my hat ! What a way to get tourists NOT to come down here. They have been working on that dam bridge for 4 summers in a row. I, for one, am soo tired of it. Glad there are people working, but hey c'mon every dam summer ! Fix it once and for all PLEASE !!!
