12:30 am - An attempt to serve a warrant at 44 Fresh Holes Road in Hyannis resulted in the arrest of James R. Soares, 46, of 34 Sycamore St., New Bedford, on a defaulted warrant for assault and battery in New Bedford.
1:38 am - A report of harassment at a residence on Weston Circle in Hyannis resulted in the arrest of Patricia M. Sellers, 25, of Weston Circle, Hyannis, on a charge of alleged assault and battery, domestic violence and she was also taken into protective custody.
7:39 am - A report was called in of vandalism at a Nottingham Drive, Centerville residence. Advised.
11:01 am - An assault was reported at the Town of Barnstable transfer station on Flint Street in Marstons Mills. Report taken.
11:58 am - A report of harassment and threats was called in from the Hess gas station on Route 28 and Yarmouth Road in Hyannis. Advised.
11:59 am - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at the Pufferbellies complex on Route 28 in Hyannis. Police advised.
12:04 pm - A disturbance was reported at the 7-Eleven on North Street in Hyannis. Serviced.
12:10 pm - A disturbance was reported at the intersection of North and Winter streets. Serviced.
12:32 pm - A fire was reported at the new terminal at the Barnstable Municipal Airport. Serviced.
2:58 pm - A disturbance at the McDonald's restaurant on North Street in Hyannis was reported. Police report taken.
4:41 pm - Vandalism was reported at the Winter Street, Hyannis apartments and as a result police arrested Xavier E. Green, 23, of 1117 Alewife Rd., West Yarmouth, on a charge of injury to real or personal property.
7:24 pm - A report of suspicious activity was called in from the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant on Ridgewood Ave., Hyannis. Serviced.
8:20 pm - A report of suspicious activity at the Hamblin's Pond, Marstons Mills town beach. Parties gone on arrival.
9:53 pm - A report of a group disturbance near the intersection of South Main and Main streets, Centerville. Parties advised.
10:33 pm - A report of a fight causing a disturbance was called in from Strawberry Hill Road in Centerville. Parties advised.
10:53 pm - As a result of a report of a disturbance at a residence on Spring Street in Hyannis, police arrested Clifford Ostane, 29, of 89 Fanniel Street, Brighton, Massachusetts, on a charge of violating the Town of Barnstable noise ordinance and operating a motor vehicle after license suspension. He was also placed into protective custody.
11:21 pm - As a result of a motor vehicle stop at the International Inn - Cuddles & Bubbles on Main Street in Hyannis, police arrested Robert D. Zella Jr., 24, of Sheaffer Road, Centerville, on charges of operating a motor vehicle recklessly, as to endanger and operating with unnecessary noise.
11:36 pm - As a result of a motor vehicle stop at the Hyannis Courtyard by Marriott hotel on Route 132 in Hyannis, police arrested Patrick J. Meadowcroft, 31, of Sandwich Road, Sandwich, on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle or trailer, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Why do you make it look as if there is a story about the assault at the dump, then just show the police logs? What's the point of the title if there is nothing to substantiate it? Seriously, none of these local stories amount to much of anything. I'm sure there are lots of good things going on here on the Cape that we readers would rather be reading than business reviews that nobody responds to and police logs.
