Saturday 5K Race to Benefit Houston Family

There is a 5k walk/run fundraising event scheduled for November.

In honor and memory of Kevin Houston who was killed in a deadly helicopter crash last month while serving as a member of Navy SEAL Team Six and his sister Miranda Houston who died of ovarian cancer, the First Annual Houston Memorial 5K Walk/Run will take place on Nov. 5 at Barnstable High School.

The family event will include a race for children and adults starting at BHS.

Kid's races start at 9 am on the track and the 5K loop will begin at BHS and loop through Craigville Conference Center.
