Tyler,

It has been 5 years since you were born. I can't believe how big you have gotten. You are a little man now. The days of throwing you up in the air are over and bittersweet for me. We have had great times playing ball, camping, fishing, and most of all, just spending time together. In September you will begin Kindergarten and getting on that big yellow bus you keep talking about. Again, another bittersweet moment for mom and dad. Then there is middle school, times of growing into a big man and at the beginning stages of taking charge in our household. Again, a bittersweet time. Here is high school, where you really have an identity and start pursuing those dreams you talked about at the age of 4. Daddy is getting old now and can't do as much as he once could. You have taken complete charge of the household and have become the man we raised you to be. College comes and goes, you beging your career, get married, have children and become the husband we have taught you to be. you are out of our house at the age of 26 again, bitttersweet moment. The only thing I can tell you at this point is; life is all about bittersweet moments. Cherrish your children as much as you cherrish life because they grow so fast!
