Pierce-Cote Takes Home Lamplighter Awards for Cape Cod Healthcare Ad Campaign
Osterville-based Pierce-Cote Advertising was honored recently by The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) for excellence in marketing, public relations and communications.
Pierce Cote received four awards for its 2012 advertising campaign for Cape Cod Healthcare. The campaign, built around the positioning line “We’re taking good care of you”, included radio, TV, print, and online advertising.
The agency was honored with An Award of Excellence for Print Advertising, an Award of Excellence for Radio Advertising, An Award of Excellence for the Total Campaign, and a Gold distinction in the Special Events category for a holiday blood drive campaign.
Agency President and Founder Rebecca Pierce-Merrick stated, “It is truly an honor to help Cape Cod Healthcare communicate the high level of skill and caring that the system offers to everyone on Cape Cod.”
“Cape Cod Healthcare is one of America’s Top Ten healthcare systems; we needed to develop a strong branding campaign to let the community know that the quality of care provided here is exceptional,” said Patrick Kane, SVP, Business Development and Marketing Communications for Cape Cod Healthcare. “Working with Pierce Cote, we developed a campaign which tells this story of CCHC through the eyes of our patients. Pierce Cote did an exceptional job in helping us plan, coordinate and execute this campaign. We’re delighted that their efforts were recognized with several awards at the Lamplighter Dinner Thursday night.”
"The Cape Cod Healthcare campaign was an example of the best and brightest work produced in our area,” added Lee Reynolds Crouch, APR, president of NESHCo. “The entry was creative, innovative and results-driven and showcased Cape Cod Healthcare extremely well.”
The Lamplighters were established in 1974 to showcase and honor excellence in health care communications in the New England region. The 2012 competition included more than 300 entries from more than 82 organizations throughout the area. Entries were judged by the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network.
For four decades, NESHCo has served as the region’s premier professional development organization for communication professionals working in the health care industry. The Society is composed of nearly 300 members throughout New England. For more information, visit www.neshco.org.
