The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (formerly the Planned Giving Council) is inviting nominations from the community for Philanthropy Day’s annual Distinguished Service to Philanthropy on Cape Cod and the Islands Awards. These awards recognize the dedication and generosity of those who support the many nonprofits on Cape Cod and the Islands.

Award categories include: Outstanding Volunteer, Outstanding Business/Organization, Outstanding Philanthropist, and Outstanding Youth/Youth Organization.

All awards will be presented during the 16^th annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod to be held at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis on November 14, 2012. A special review committee of nonprofit professionals, estate planners and other community members will select the awardees. Nominees will be considered for their service and generosity in making Cape Cod and the Islands a better place.
