Concert and Comedy at Cotuit Center for the Arts on Saturday, November 5 at 8:00pm
Cotuit Center for the Arts presents an evening of concert and comedy with Christine Lavin and Don White on Saturday, November 5 at 8:00pm. Christine Lavin and Don White are a sassy pairing of New York-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Christine Lavin with Lynn, MA native Don White, a consummate storyteller and musician.
Lavin’s smart and funny songs nail life’s foibles on the head. Her irony and wit shine through in delightfully skewed songs about such topics as relationships; “What Was I Thinking?”, politics: “Baracolate Chip Cookies” and life’s injustices: “Attractive Stupid People”. White stays right at home with a virtual on-stage biopic of funny and often touching family related songs like “How to Get Your Kids to Leave Home”, “Be 16 with Me” and “Rascal”. Having worked together for over 15 years, Lavin and White are an hilariously seamless two-fer of comedy and song.
