Cape & Islands Green Benefits Package is Expanding
June 19, 2012 – Cape & Islands Green benefits package is expanding, now offering its members access to a green credit card processing system which gives back a 25% rebate of fees. Also members have the opportunity to be part of an upcoming cooperative buying program for eco-friendly products.
Cape & Islands Green, a program of the Cape Cod Chamber and other Cape Chambers, is expanding its benefits to verified companies. You can become part of the group of forward-thinking companies through the checklist verification process. Workshops are held at least once a month at the Chamber offices on the last Wednesday of each month to begin the verification process.
Members are now gaining access to the new benefits. A new Green Merchant Services program is a green credit card processing system which gives back a 25% rebate of fees to your company in order to fund green initiatives, for example to change light bulbs or buy recycling bins. The rates are competitive or less costly than your current program.
All C&I Green verified companies, and business who would like to become verified, can become part of an upcoming cooperative buying program for eco-friendly products, such as offices and cleaning supplies, as well as biodegradable tableware and take-out food containers like cups, plates, bowls,cutlery, etc.
