Katherine Davis, a college student from Bourne who studied Business at the University of Limerick in Ireland, served as a Student Ambassador in the Spring of 2012 for Education in Ireland, an initiative of the Irish government designed to promote higher education in Ireland. In a ceremony at Ireland's Department of Education and Skills on Friday 20th April, Education in Ireland's first ever group of student Ambassadors were presented with certificates of achievement by Secretary General, Seán Ó Foghlú.
